Affordable Housing Prototype
This project is a built prototype for affordable, adaptable housing in Ecuador, designed using vernacular materials such as adobe, timber, and bamboo. It explores how local knowledge and modular construction can create homes that evolve with families over time, dignified, sustainable, and deeply rooted in place.
Beyond architecture, the work challenges inequities in access to housing by offering a replicable model shaped by community input, cultural identity, and climate resilience.
