Interconnected Courtyards: Public Space Design in Santiago, Chile

As part of a collaborative studio in Santiago, our team worked with the federal government of Chile to reimagine an industrial area into a vibrant network of public spaces. We proposed a system of interconnected courtyards that transition from private to semi-public to fully public, creating a layered urban fabric that fosters community and inclusivity. My role focused on developing the visualizations that communicate the spatial qualities and emotional experience of moving through each courtyard—capturing how these spaces feel to inhabit as well as how they connect as a larger system.
